Elliott Schupp

My name is Elliott Schupp, I'm 15 and from Bentonville Arkansas. I’ve been homeschooled since the beginning. I competed in travel baseball for 10 years and thought my future would be baseball at higher levels, until I was introduced to the sport of Pickleball. Once I played my first game I was hooked and realized PIckleball is what I want to pursue. I was introduced to the sport by my grandfather when I was 12. He painted a rough sketch of a court on his driveway and it was there he began teaching me. Once I turned 14 I left baseball and have devoted my time to Pickleball ever since. Being a lefty, the right side is where I naturally fit and I'm working hard to be a right side specialist. In late 2021 I began to take the sport more seriously and started playing in local tournaments and got gold in most of them. I played in my first APP event in April of 2022 and got bronze in Men's 4.5 Doubles. I am now playing on the APP Next Gen tour and recently got a gold medal in Alternate Mens Doubles, and placed 7th overall out of a field of 32. My goal is to be the best player I can be and to enjoy pickleball as long as I’m playing it.
